Default Monks in Hell's Precipice

There are a shortage of monks in the Hell's Precipice mission. I have a monk. Is it wrong to change a party some amount of gold to go through the mission with them?

i am broke and could use the $$ and parties need monks.

If any group is bad enough to not be able to do that mission with hench monks they deserve to be ripped off.

Nope - it's the equivalent of being a runner, IMO. We saw the same thing at Thunderhead Keep way back when before heroes.

You can easily do that mission with hero monks. Or maybe even Mhenlo and Lina.

If you can find someone to give you the money, it's not wrong.

However, the mission is easy enough that hench monks will do, even in hard mode. Monking for a team where those aren't enough sounds like an exercise in frustration.

To be honest i think you'll find a severe lack of people willing to pay for the mission. Plenty of monks doing Hells that arent charging, as they also want some of the new skins.

Go nuts. If they need a monk and can't manage the hench, they'll pay.

I feel like I just took a time machine back to 2005 with this thread! At least we know that everything is as it was before, regardless of all the changes in the game since

I agree with Moloch. If they are so bad that they cannot do such a mission with H/H, then they would in effect be greatly leeching off of any monk who has the misfortune to join their party. Therefore any fee charged by the monk to put up with a party of such players would be more than reasonable.

From the monk's shoes, doing the mission with them would probably would not even worth the money for the monk that he will be paid to let them leech off of him. A monk who helps them and gets paid, is still doing a very generous service to them, and the monk is getting ripped off, not the bad PUGers.

Remember that key skills like [protective spirit] & [extinguish] can be brought along and effectively used by /Mo players.

Yes I remember the Monks strike in THK. And a few monks charging - though I usually advertised to Monk for free just to piss them off.

I no problem using Ogden with 2 condition removals - an all interrupt Gwen - a support/dmg paragon hero - Lina, Mhenlo, Cynn and Little Thom - Me a D Slash Warrior spamming SY when needed.

I did the run twice with guildies/allies. We used two hero monks.
We did fine.

I always use Mhenlo and Lina never had a problem did it with my dervish last night even.

But to answer your question...if there are people willing to pay for the service your offering that's entirely up to them..i don't see a problem with it.

If you have another char, you can probably make money easier. Likewise there are probably easish farms you can do with your monk.
